His acting career began in Sydney, at The Ensemble Theatre,
studying with Hayes Gordon. In 1991, he earned
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Performance, from Theatre
Nepean , which was part
of the University of Western Sydney's, School of Visual
and Performing Arts. While there, he also trained briefly
at the University of Wisconsin (UW Milwaukee) in
the USA, with acting schools from America, Poland and Sweden.
James
continued to study various screen acting and voice techniques
with;

Trish McAskill.

Kathy Evans, (Kathy
Evans Voice Management) who represents some of the leading
voice actors in Australia.
He
has appeared on-stage, in commercials, in many award winning
short films, toured Australia with the hit children's stage
show, 'Johnson & Friends', and also performed
in TV shows from 'A Country Practice' to 'White
Collar Blue'.
In
2008, James appeared in the feature films, 'Mortal Fools',
starring Jai Koutrae and 'Devil's Gateway', starring
Vanessa Gray, Michael Piccirilli and Jack Campbell. He has
also appeared in the comedy short film 'Power
Point', with Denise Roberts, Ed Kavalee and Steve Leeder.
