2007-08:
James began his acting career in Sydney, at The Ensemble
Theatre, with Hayes Gordon, then on to
the University of Western
Sydney (UWS Nepean), obtaining a BA in Performance
in 1991. He also trained briefly at the University of Wisconsin
(UW Milwaukee) in the USA with acting schools from America,
Poland and Sweden.
In Sydney, he continued to study various screen acting and
voice techniques at;
The Actor's Centre, with Sonja Tallis and Lani Tupu; Screenskill,
with Tony Wickert; Screenwise, with Denise Roberts,
Peter Andrikidis and Trish McAskill; The Australian Film,
Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in Ryde, NSW
Australia, with Denny Lawrence, Graham Thorburn and Jen Oldershaw;
V.O.C.A.L. Workshops with Kathy Evans.
He
has appeared on-stage and in commercials (local and overseas)
and in many award winning short films. He toured Australia
with the hit children's stage show, 'Johnson & Friends',
and he has also performed in TV shows from 'A Country Practice'
to 'White Collar Blue'.
2007
found him appearing in the feature films 'Mortal Fools'
and 'Devil's Gateway' and the comedy short film 'Power
Point', with Denise Roberts, Ed Kavalee and Steve Leeder.
